our role(s): Design and illustration of interface gadgets


Alien Skin's Xenofex filters generate natural effects (eg. lightning, stains, crackles) for Photoshop users. Usability requires that their interface gadgets behave as expected on both Mac and Windows. This product category, however, rewards products with a distinctive personality.

We worked with Alien Skin to develop a graphic, angular style that remains in the background, without distracting the user from the image they are editing.
